Give blood, save lives

Nearly 200 people including leaders, employees of SCB and their relatives registered to donate blood in only 3 days after the bank had launched the campaign for Humanitarian Blood Donation 2024. Among them were multi-time donors with more than 15 times, notably Mr. Truong Ngoc Phuoc, who is currently the Security Guard of SCB, has given away his blood for the 85th time and was awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister as one of 100 outstanding blood donors in 2023.

SCB’s employees actively responded to the voluntary blood donation event

Out of the celebration of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7), while calling out for more volunteers to join hands for the community, Saigon Commercial Bank (SCB) cooperated with the Blood Donation Center - the Red Cross Society of Ho Chi Minh City to organize the event as Humanitarian Blood Donation Day 2024, taking place on April 12, 2024 at SCB Building, No. 242 Cong Quynh Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The event received attention and positive response from a large number of leaders, employees of SCB and their loved ones as 36,850 ml of blood was collected, which will be a significant contribution to the blood bank for healing and saving many lives.

The most valuable thing is that SCB always brings together the same league of active donors as there had been large number of leaders, trade union members of different ages, especially employees who are multi-time donors participating in the previous events.

Leaders of SCB participated in the event

Through these events, SCB has raised profound awareness of the employees not only about the meaningful message of humanitarianism but also benefits of blood donors as they will have health check and other health improvements in their bodies. Moreover, with noble gesture to the community, blood donors will have priority in case they need blood for their own medical treatments.

The "Give blood – Save lives" spirit in each and every SCBer

In the spirit of "Give blood – Save lives", this meaningful activity is believed to foster widespread humanistic values crystallized in SCB culture, embellishing the cultural beauty of SCBers.
