SCB was named “Vietnam Excellent Brand” 06 years in a row

Saigon Commercial Bank (SCB) marked its consecutive 06 years being listed in “Top 100 Vietnam Excellent Brands 2021” at an award ceremony in Hanoi on October 13 this year, held by the Vietnam Economic Times, resulting from a program to honor Vietnamese business community for their efforts in overcoming a certain challenges.

The annual event aims to congratulate the agility, strong will and remarkable resilience of enterprises through difficult times to get on sustainably. The voting program received an enthusiastic response from hundreds of firms across the country with evaluation based on criteria like quality of products and services favored by consumers, creativity in business style, outstanding values of products and services, stable growth, positive contributions to the economy as well as fame in domestic and international markets, etc.

The tendency of globalization has made the international economic integration and competitions more common, which are the key attributes to value of a business and its brand, driving the incumbent to create core and distinctive values in the practice of branding. Therefore, this award means so much to SCB as a testament for its great dedication in business activities and brand marketing over the years.

During the critical time under the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak, SCB has been offering many preferential customer support policies, for instance: new loan packages for individuals and corporates with annual interest rates only from 6.5% to 6.99%, interest rates reduced by 0.5% in first 6 months, 50% discount for interbranch and interbank transfer through Internet Banking and 10% off when charging international payment services, etc.

SCB also never forgets to take care of the employees by providing them benefits of vaccination, regular rapid testing and workplace disinfection as well as paying visits to console and supply food to the infected ones.

Moreover, SCB is a strong advocate for many social charity programs. From the beginning of the year, the bank has so far donated VND50 billion to the government’s Covid-19 Prevention & Control Fund, 20 mobile Covid testing buses to the Ministry of Health, 05 mobile vaccination buses to Hai Phong City, food and medical supplies to localities all over the country.
