SCB was honored in Top 3 “Trading volume market maker 2021”

Sai Gon J.S. Commercial Bank (SCB) was named “The third - highest trading volume market maker 2021” by Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA).

This year, the ceremony to honor outstanding government bond market makers – “VBMA Best Bond, FX Swap Awards 2021” took place as part of the VBMA 2022 Annual Meeting held in Da Nang on June 24, 2022. The event attracted the great attention and participation of hundreds of domestic and foreign financial institutions such as banks, securities companies, insurance companies, investment funds, etc.

The prestigious annual award ceremony recognizes the Government Bond market makers’ contributions to setting short-term yield curves, boosting liquidity and the development of market for the government’s debt instruments.

Over the years, SCB has always been an ardent companion along the growth journey of such market and an active member of VBMA's list of market makers. In 2022, SCB was also honored by the Ministry of Finance as the market maker for governments’ debt instruments along with 17 other reputable financial institutions.

Having been named as "The Third - Most Tenor Offering Market Maker” last year, SCB has earned its stripes in the Repo market by continuously winning the VBMA’s favorite vote for this year’s title.

Moreover, SCB has recently been awarded by many organizations for achievements in financial activities, products and services as "Leadership in Debit Payment Volume Growth 2021" - Visa, " Top 50 Vietnam best growth 2022" - Vietnam Report, "Fast Enterprise Award" - Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2021, to name a few.
