On 17/05/2020, representatives of Sai Gon J.S. Commercial Bank (SCB) attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Viet Phat Industrial Park (Tan Long ward, Thu Thua district, Long An province), acting as a strategic partner to provide funds to the project. This industrial park and urban area aiming at green-clean-sustainable development is targeting to boost Long An’ social and economic development as well as seize the investment flows expected to return to Vietnam after the Covid-19 pandemic.
SCB provided financial funds to Viet Phat Industrial Park (Tan Long ward, Thu Thua district, Long An province), making up a crucial part in total investment funds. Such action indicates strong commitment of SCB in accompanying with enterprises, especially during the economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic as well as social-economic development in Long An province.
Viet Phat Industrial Park is a large and important project to Long An in specific and the region in general. After considering financial solutions, SCB approved credit granting and committed to offer fund support for the project. SCB actively cooperated with investors, project enterprises and other related parties to proceed credit approval and credit reports as per regulations to make credit granting procedures.
1,800 hectare Viet Phat Industrial Park is one of the largest industrial parks and located in the strategic planning region of Ho Chi Minh that targets in developing industry, urban areas towards East Sea; it is also located in sea ports, high-ways and other critical routes.
Being projected to make significant contributions to Long An’s social-economic development, creating more job opportunities and improving living standards of local people; Viet Phat Industrial Park is also targeting to a world-standard industrial park, qualified enough to attract investments from domestic and overseas enterprises.
