SCB named the “Fast Enterprise Award” by Enterprise Asia

On February 25, 2022, Sai Gon J.S. Commercial Bank (SCB) was the only bank in Vietnam having the honor to receive the Fast Enterprise Award by the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2021.

The Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2021 has presented to 64 enterprises and entrepreneurs in Vietnam, based on outstanding business achievements to go through the impact of Covid-19 epidemic.

The awards encompassed the categories for “Fast Enterprise Award”, “Corporate Excellence Award”, and “Inspirational Brand Award”. SCB was the only bank among 9 Vietnamese organizations/enterprises winning “Fast Enterprise Award” category.

This victory has shown the bank’s tireless efforts to earn its stripes in domestic business community by achievements in revenues, profit, business scale, manpower as well as the contributions to the social community in recent years.

Ms. Dang Thi Bao Chau – SCB’s Acting Head of Corporate Banking Division receives the "Fast Enterprise Award".

In 2021, despite many challenges, SCB still maintained a stable and safe growth rate with the main goal of effective restructuring; implementing new business models and a system of multi-utility products and services to increase customer experience and satisfaction. In addition, SCB constantly improved the competency of human resources, optimized capital efficiency and strengthened risk management.

By the end of 2021, SCB’s total assets reached over VND703,155 billion, charter capital of more than VND20,020 billion and over 7,000 employees and 239 transaction units located in 28 major provinces/cities.

Recently, SCB has been honored to received many prestigious domestic and international awards, such as: “Outstanding products and services in Ho Chi Minh City 2021”, “Best Banking Technology Vietnam 2021”; "Best CSR Bank Vietnam 2021"; “Best Commercial Bank Vietnam 2021”; “Straight Through Processing Award 2020”, “Top 100 Vietnamese Strong Brands 2021”, etc.

In 2021, in the context of socio-economic difficulties in Vietnam, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City due to the Covid-19 pandemic, SCB organized many meaningful social and community programs, contributing more than VND270 billion for the prevention of Covid-19 pandemic.
