As banking industry uses a large amount of invoices, SCB has actively applied e-invoices since August 1, 2018 in order to bring the best convenience to customers upon transactions. In 2022, SCB continues to be one of the pioneer banks to apply einvoices according to Decree no. 123/2020/NĐ-CP before March 31, 2022 (the first phase of the einvoice development roadmap according to Government policy). The einvoice solution was developed by SCB based on the bank’s modern technology and infrastructure, ensuring strict compliance with the latest data regulations prescribed by the General Department of Taxation in Decision No. 1450/QD-TCT. With einvoices, customers are expected to be satisfied when it comes to legality, safety and simplified data verification, documentary archive and enhanced operation efficiency.

The einvoice application also helps the Bank to reduce manual operations that take lot of time for customers, such as: searching for invoices, printing paper invoices on paper, signing before delivering invoices to customers, etc. Using invoices also contributes to environmental protection since there will be no waste in paper, ink, etc.

With such above-mentioned benefits, Mr. Truong Khanh Hoang, Acting CEO of SCB, shared that: “The einvoices will quickly be put into common use because of its outstanding benefits for the business community, individuals and government agencies. Therefore, in order to be proactive in management, customers should actively learn about the benefits of using einvoices. At SCB, we will always provide customers with products that bring the highest benefits to customers.”

SCB currently is doing well in the application of einvoices with instructions posted on the einvoice lookup portal, allowing customers to search and download data on einvoices, best meeting the needs of customers and still complying with relevant regulations.

Thanks to digital banking trend, banks can access the latest technologies. SCB soon identified the importance of technology in its development strategy, aiming for the following goals: optimizing customer experience and operational efficiency, improving governance capacity and labor productivity. Accordingly, SCB has invested heavily in the banking technology. The data management system is always put on top to collect, process and exploit data in the safest and most effective way so that SCB can better serve customers.
