SCB claimed the honor in Top 50 Vietnam The Best 2021

On January 14, 2022, SCB was honored to be in Top 50 Vietnam The Best 2021 at a ceremony held by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report), in association with VietnamNet newspaper to announce the list of VNR500 Ranking - 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam 2021.

This is the 5th year in a row that SCB was in this list. SCB also made its way into the Top 10 at the ranking of 500 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam 2021.

By simultaneously winning acclaim for being in the VNR500 Ranking and Top 50 Vietnam The Best, SCB has affirmed its position in the Vietnamese business community with achievements in business revenues, along with good capital use efficiency, stable and sustainable profit growth and good performance of social and community responsibilities.

Built according to the model of Fortune500 (USA), VNR500 ranking evaluates businesses based on the following criteria: size of business revenue, profit, revenue growth prospects, workforce, profitability indicators such as ROA, ROE, positive contributions to the State budget and media reputation, etc.

Recently, SCB has received many prestigious domestic and international awards, such as "Outstanding products and services in Ho Chi Minh City 2021" from Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA); "Best Banking Technology Vietnam 2021" from The European Magazine; "Best CSR Bank Vietnam 2021" from International Business Magazine; “Best Commercial Bank Vietnam 2021” from World Finance Magazine; "Straight Through Processing Award 2020 - Bank with excellent international payment quality in 2020" through the global system of The Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon); "Top 100 Strong Brands of Vietnam 2021" from Vietnam Economic Times, to name but a few.

These awards demonstrate SCB's ceaseless efforts to bring out outstanding products and services, especially during the recent Covid-19 pandemic.

From the beginning of 2021, economic and social issues has concerned the whole nation, especially Ho Chi Minh City, due to the Covid-19 crisis.
