SCB received the award “Outstanding innovative banking product/service” from IDG third time in a row

Sai Gon J.S. Commercial Bank – SCB was honored to receive the “Outstanding innovative banking product/service” award thanks to international credit SCB S-Care. This has proven the bank’s effort during the past time.

This award belongs to Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards of Vietnam Retail Banker Forum 2019 organized by VNBA and IDG on 27-28/11/2019. This award ceremony is to appreciate the banks with excellent operations and significant contributions to the development of banking-finance sector as well as Vietnam economy.

To select the winning banks for the Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards, VNBA and IDG has made detailed analysis and objective judgments by many steps including evaluations, document analysis, on-site interview, etc.

Launched in 05/2019, international credit card SCB S-Care offers benefits in health care and community values. Ms. Tran Thi Minh Thao, Head of Personal and Financial Service Division expressed that: “international credit card SCB S-Care is one of the pioneering products focusing on customers’ health. Thanks to such distinctive feature, this product has been awarded the title of outstanding innovative banking product/service in 2019. With that recognition, SCB is projected to put more effort in diversifying product portfolio, improving service quality, meeting customers’ needs”.

As of 08/2019, after 03 months of implementation, there have been nearly 10,000 customers opening SCB S-Care cards, increasing revenue from card services by 11%. With the message “Trao yeu thuong, tron hanh phuc” (Embracing happiness), upon using SCB S-Care cards, customers are, together with SCB, raising the charity fund “SCB – Care for the community”. Annually, SCB deducts VND1 billion from card service revenues for cancer patients.

Recently, SCB also received many other awards such as: “Best Retail Bank Vietnam 2019” by World Finance Magazine, “Best Banking Technology -Vietnam 2019” by The European, “Best Credit Card Offerings- Vietnam 2019” by Global Business Outlook, etc.
