SCB received the award in international payment operation

On 14/10/2019, at the Head Office of Sai Gon J.S. Commercial Bank (SCB), representatives from Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) honored SCB with the STP (Straight Through Processing) award 2018.

The STP award 2018 is to honor SCB for its operational excellence in international payment. SCB has achieved remarkably high straight through rate (above 98%). The STP rate was calculated based on the total number of payment routed via BNY Mellon, in 2018, without any repair or amendment. This outstanding rate is one of the best testaments to reflect SCB’s great quality in automated payment process.

At the award ceremony, Mr. Arnon Goldstein – Regional Head of Relationship Management for BNY Mellon’s Treasury Services business in Asia Pacific, shared that: “With huge amount of transactions, such STP rate of 98% at SCB is extremely high, compared to average rate of the sector. We highly appreciate our long-lasting and effective cooperation in international payment, constantly proving globally excellent service to customers. With this award, we would like to honor the dedication, professionalism and commitment of employees from SCB’s International Transaction Banking Division”.

BNY Mellon was found in 1784 by Alexander Hamilton and this is the oldest bank in the U.S. It is also the first bank listed on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), first US bank connected to SWIFT with over 2,500 correspondent relationships.
